- Is shopping online with Belletaré safe? Do you have a Security Policy?
While no online database or website can be guaranteed to be 100% safe 100% of the time, we have a Security and Privacy Policy, along with internal procedures, in place to ensure the safest shopping experience possible. In fact, along with providing superior products and services, protecting your information and our company databases is our highest priority. We urge you to read carefully the Belletaré Security and Privacy Policy (“Policy”) as well as our Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) before using the Belletaré website (Website”).

- Do you mail hard copy Catalogs or Coupons?
We do not have a typical hard-copy catalog. As part of our commitment to reduce waste, we provide our product information primarily online and in small brochures or cards for marketing purposes. Since we do not mail catalogs or Promotions or Special Offers , we invite you to join our free VIP Club to receive periodic promotions, special offers, product updates and newletters, the same information likely found in a typical hard-copy catalog.
- What is the VIP Club and how do I sign-up or cancel membership?
All our customers are Very Important Persons, or VIPs, but joining the Club provides special privileges, like periodic emails with discount codes for special offers which may include discount pricing, free special occasion gift wrap, free shipping or gifts with purchase. It’s free and easy to join and cancel. Simply go to the My Account link at the top of any page and complete and submit the short form to set-up an account or select the account set-up option upon checkout. That’s it! We respect our customers’ busy lives and privacy, so rest assured that Club Members are never inundated with emails. At most, emails are sent monthly, but more likely less frequently depending upon the time of year. VIP Club Members can also be assured that our standard Security and Privacy Policy always applies.
- Does Belletare create customized skincare products for special or corporate events?
That’s how we got our start, so creating customized products is near and dear to our hearts. At this time, however, we are not providing that service except on special request with at least 12 weeks advance notice and a minimum of 100 pieces per product type. We’d love to revive this aspect of the business as time and resources allow so stay tuned!
- Does Belletaré bulk discounts on its standard or travel size skincare products for special events or corporate gifts?
Bulk discounts are considered on a case by case basis. Please Contact Us to inquire further.
- Does Belletare offer samples of its skincare products?
Because our ingredients are so costly, and we don’t yet have the large resources of a mass market manufacturer, we are unable to provide free samples as a matter of course. We do, however, provide our Travel Size skincare products at a nominal cost, or as gifts-with-purchase, periodically for VIP Club Members and as give-aways at some charitable events. If you are not sure about purchasing the standard size product, we recommend that you purchase the travel size first to see how you like it. Our Travel Size products are larger than the typical sample sizes in the industry and therefore help customers get a true feel for a product without the larger quantity commitment. Our Travel Size offerings include both Adagio and Vivace Signature Essential Oil Blends in the Crescendo Bath & Shower Gel, Intermezzo Body Polish and Brava Body Lotion. We also offer our A Cappella Brava Body Lotion (low natural scent without added Essential Oils) in Travel Size along with sets of multiple products. We’d love for you to give them a try and let us know what you think. We listen!
- Does Belletare sell wholesale to brick & mortar or other online retail stores?
We are happy to say that we do! Our Wholesale pricing is very competitive in the luxury high-quality skincare products segment, and we offer some valuable incentives to both new and continuing retailers and can be a good source for cross-marketing opportunities. Because of the unique high-quality nature of our natural and organic products, we do not mass produce and therefore must use some discretion choosing our retail partners. - Do you offer Gift Certificates?
We hope to in the future, but at this time we do not. If you’re not sure about what scent blend or product to go with, please consider one of our specially-priced Gift Collections which are offered in both standard and travel sizes and are available in our elegant Signature Wrapping at no extra charge or in Special Occasion Wrapping for a small charge. It’s a great way for someone to try some or all of our products at one time.
- Is there special pricing for the gift or travel sets?
Yes, by purchasing one of our Gift or Travel Collections, you typically receive $1.00 off each Standard Size skincare product in the collection and $0.50 off each Travel Size product in the collection.
- Are natural and organic skincare products more expensive?
While natural and organic skincare products can be more expensive for a number of reasons, Belletaré product pricing is competitive with its conventional luxury high-performance skincare counterparts even though formulating high-performance skincare with natural and organic ingredients is extra challenging and costly. Natural and organic ingredient suppliers’ pricing can be affected by weather, disease, demand, land values, and labor among other things. Also, there are limited natural and organic alternatives for the some traditional chemical ingredients, like the controversial and potentially harmful paraben preservatives. For instance, some plant-based preservative systems are very effective but have strong herbal odors that cannot be overcome by adding essential oils, rendering them unacceptable for a luxury product. That may mean more experimenting and testing to find the right combination of natural preservatives that can perform at a level acceptable in a luxury product. Further, ingredients that are certified natural or organic necessarily have to pass a certification process which can add to the cost of an ingredient. Certified ingredients can be twice as expensive as the conventional version.
- How can I decide on a scent blend when purchasing online? What if I don’t like it?

- Are your products safe for sensitive skin?
Because we do not use any of the traditional chemical ingredients that historically have been known to cause skin irritation in some people, our products are generally gentle enough for all skin types. Our Adagio and Vivace Signature Essential Oil Blends are typically no more than about 5% of the total formulation which means they are significantly diluted and less potentially sensitizing than in an undiluted state. For those with skin sensitive to even small amounts of essential oils, we offer our Brava Body Lotion in A Cappella which has a low natural scent without added essential oils. As with any botanical or herbal product or supplement, however, we advise checking with your doctor first if you are pregnant or have a medical condition that could be affected by topical application of botanical ingredients. It is always advisable to do a skin patch test before using any new skincare product.

- Why should I care if my skincare ingredients are natural or organic?

- What is the shelf life of your products?
Because we don’t use the typical super-strength chemical preservatives, the shelf life of our products is six months to one year if used and stored under normal conditions. It is important to use clean hands and to keep water and other substances out of the products to maintain shelf life. All the more reason to celebrate today and not wait for that “special” occasion to use our products.
- Why does your Bath & Shower Gel feel different than similar products that I get at the mass retailer?
If you are not used to using natural and organic personal care products, we encourage you to give them a try for at least a week, especially and Bath & Shower Gels or Soap Bars. While they are silky and effective, some people find that it takes a little time to get used to difference between conventional chemical boosted lather and the more pure lather from natural and organic ingredients. We think you’ll love them, and you’re skin and our water supply will thank you for it!
- What kind of product containers does Belletaré use for its skincare products?
Our product containers are carefully chosen to be elegant, practical for our customers, appropriate for our products and as eco-friendly as possible. Believe it or not, this combination is more difficult to find than it sounds, but we’re hopeful that more options will become available as consumers and manufacturers, like Belletaré, continue to demand and push for more high-performance and practical eco-friendly packaging choices. All our containers are made of white PET plastic marked with recycling symbol #1, which is the number for the most recyclable plastic. This is also the best material for protecting our products because it: is not breakable; is less gas permeable than other plastics; does not leach into our products; and, prevents UV degradation (opaque color). While similar looking bio-degradable containers made out of corn resin are available, they are not compatible for our natural and organic ingredients. Legitimate natural and organic products lack the strong chemical preservatives of many conventional products and therefore are more susceptible to contamination, oxidation and UV damage that can degrade the product and shorten shelf life. Our lotion pump, caps and lids are not readily recycleable yet in most recycling programs even though they are made of recyclable plastics. In a perfect world, we’d have a biodegradable opaque plastic-like container with a readily recyclable lid that is not only compatible with our natural and organic ingredients, but is also readily available and beautiful. Maybe someday. In the meantime, we’ll keep pushing!
- What is Belletare standard packaged for shipping?
Because our products are not individually boxed, we pack all items in an order into our recyclable “Signature Wrapping”, cushioned in reusable fine white paper shred. The retail box is packed in a recyclable cardboard box with bio-degradable “peanuts” so that your products arrive safe and sound. We encourage reuse and recycling of our packaging materials as much as possible.

Ordering, Shipping and Returns
- Can I place an Order via Telephone, Fax or Mail?
We’ve gone to great lengths to ensure a safe online shopping experience, so we encourage placing orders through our website. See our Security and Privacy Policy for more information. If you’d like to place an order by telephone, please give us a call. If asked to leave a message, please leave your name, telephone number and a good time to reach you for taking your order. Mail orders can be placed by using the mail order form provided on our Shopping Cart Page. We currently do not accept orders by fax.
- What Forms of Payment are accepted?
We accept most major credit cards, including American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Diner’s Club. At this time, we do not accept other forms of payment (ie cash, checks or money orders). We may except business checks for pre-approved Wholesale orders.
- Can I cancel or modify an Order?
We are happy to modify or cancel an order by phone if the order is on hold or has not yet been processed for shipping. Please call or email customer service as soon as the need arises. If the order has been processed for shipping,, you will need to follow our return process provided in our Terms and Conditions. Please note that orders placed before 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time ship the same day, otherwise they ship the following day.
- What are the Shipping Costs and Delivery Schedules?

- Does Belletare Ship Internationally?
Generally yes, if an valid and complete international address, including zip code, is provided by the customer in the order. Because of varying international regulations, we cannot guarantee that we can ship to all countries at any one particular time. We will notify you if we are not able to ship to the country you choose. Please note that international shipping rates will apply and that, if applicable duties and taxes must be paid by the recipient of the order at the time of delivery. - Can I check the Status of an Order or Shipment?
Yes, in one of three ways. You can always contact our customer service department. See our Contact Us page. If you provided a valid email address at the time of order and later received an email from us with shipping tracking information, you can track your order following instructions in that email. If you signed-up for an account (a/k/a VIP Club Membership), you can also log-in to your account to track orders.
- How do I Return or Exchange an item?

- Are sales taxes applicable? What if my company is tax exempt?
